Kelly Thomas, is highly qualified and experienced naturopathic medicine practitioner. Kelly has a particular interest in men’s health and depression and gastrointestinal disorders. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Southern School of Natural Therapies where she excelled in research and received a high distinction for her post-graduate thesis on Ulcerative Colitis.
Kelly is a general naturopathic physician and has a broad range of interests in all aspects of health. She treats with therapies such as bush flower remedies, herbal medicine and homoeopathy. Her passion is food as medicine, reconnecting people with real food that grounds us and gives us optimal nourishment.
Kelly is a Hemaview/Live blood screening technician. She is fully trained to screen your blood and can explain how different aspects of what she sees may relate to your health. Using only one or two drops of your blood, Kelly can use Hemaview to investigate the size, shape and rations of the red blood cells, white cells and platelets in your blood. She can then work with you to develop a dietary and lifestyle plan to improve your health.
During a consultation Kelly may use iridology, functional pathology testing or Hemaview/Live blood screening to help reach the right, individualised treatment plan. Iridology involves the study of the iris as a means to help see which organs might need support. Functional pathology is further testing such as a stool data analysis that helps us understand what is happening with your digestive system.
